About Squirrels

Although we’re competitive on the field, we prioritize having fun playing frisbee. Squirrels focus on providing players an enjoyable break from classes and homework where they can learn to play frisbee and improve their skills. Many players agree that our laid back culture and team camaraderie make up the best parts of Squirrels.

In the Fall, squirrels go to a combined tournament with the men’s A Team at the University of Maryland (no overnight), a tournament on the National Mall for rookies, and one Squirrels only overnight tournament in either Maryland or Virginia.

In the Spring, we compete in about 3 or 4 tournaments throughout Maryland, Virginia, and elsewhere. Tournaments are one of the best ways to get to know other teammates and put what we practice into action.

We are really looking forward to meeting new players this year and teaching you all about hurling circular pieces of plastic!
